“The Shipwreck” is part of a series exploring the horrors of being lost at sea - a castaway being rushed away from the horizon. It’s a body of work that became progressively abstract and full of movement and gesture.
“The Shipwreck” will be included in an upcoming exhibition titled Quiet Screams at 500X Annex. Thank you to the juror and to 500X for such an opportunity and for keeping the scene alive in Dallas.
